A personal operating system, built on plain files + AI
Most second brains store.
This one sails.
A command bridge over your businesses — captained by you, run by an AI chief of
staff. Your data lives in plain files on your own computer; the dashboard is just the glass.
Built for operators juggling multiple businesses, projects, and decisions.

What it changes
Nothing useful dies in a chat thread
Ideas and decisions land in files that outlive every conversation.
Every venture has one visible next move
The Compass shows today's single next action — no re-deciding every morning.
A new AI session starts already briefed
Any assistant, any day, reads the brain cold and knows where things stand.
How it works
The dashboard only ever adds to your files — nothing is ever silently
rewritten, so history can't be lost.
CaptureFire any thought into the bar — 5 seconds, lands in the inbox file.
RouteYour AI chief files it to the right board at the start of each session.
OrientThe Compass says today's #1 task; the Crow's Nest says what breaks next.
DispatchTap ⚡ on a card → a complete work-order prompt → paste into a fresh AI session.
Log & dissolveThe session writes results into the files, then gets deleted. Work survives; chats don't need to.
Get started two prompts + one habit — that's the whole kit
The Bridge Recipe v1.0 · July 2026 · tested with Claude Desktop on macOS ·
bring your own file-capable AI (its costs are yours) · Step 3 is the newest part.
Back up the Brain folder occasionally, and scope the AI to that
folder only — never your whole disk.
BEFORE YOU STARTThree things that make this painless
1 · Your files stay where they are — Google Drive, Dropbox, email. The brain is
a log about everything, not a new home for anything.
2 · Put the brain folder anywhere that syncs — iCloud, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive.
3 · You answer questions; the AI does the typing. Built with Claude Desktop;
works with any file-capable assistant.
STEP 1Build the brain (files first — no app)
First, connect your AI to a folder it can create files in (Claude Desktop: add the
folder as a connection; Claude Code: open it there). A chat-only AI will give you text, not
files. Then paste this in — it interviews you first, then builds the files around
your answers.
STEP 2Live with the files for a few days
No code yet — on purpose. Capture thoughts, say "read my brain and brief me," end
with "save." If the file habit doesn't stick, no dashboard will save it.
STEP 3Build the dashboard over it optional
Step 1 alone is a complete system — this step adds the glass. Once the files feel
alive, paste this second prompt: it builds the local dashboard in verified slices, golden
rule enforced in code, running on your machine only. Uses free developer tools (Node.js) —
your AI walks you through installing them; allow an hour or two.
A recipe, not a product. Nothing to buy, nothing phones home.
Your ship, your files. ⚓
