We do not chase trends or build products hoping someone needs them. We start with problems worth solving, build for real use, and release only what proves useful.
Hi, I'm Josh Cypher.
I have spent the last fifteen years building businesses, improving systems, and simplifying work. Long before I began developing software, I was focused on operations, efficiency, and removing unnecessary steps.
Today, software gives me a way to solve those same kinds of problems at a larger scale. Cypher Builds grew from tools and systems first created for my own businesses, my family, and the real-world work I do alongside local companies through CDA Partner.
The goal is not to make more software. It is to make a few useful things that genuinely earn their place.

Craft
Software that's considered, fast, and finished. We sweat the small details because they're what make a product feel trustworthy to use every day.
Privacy
We collect as little as possible — ideally nothing. HassleTime keeps all of its data on your device, with no account and no servers. Privacy isn't a setting we bolt on; it's how we build from the start.
Usefulness
Every product has to earn its place. If it doesn't make a real day easier, it doesn't ship.
Proven first
We prefer problems observed in the real world over ideas invented for a pitch deck. A product should solve something specific before it tries to serve everyone.

CDA Partner is where Josh works directly with North Idaho businesses to improve operations through practical AI, automation, and custom systems.
The work is separate but complementary: CDA Partner solves problems alongside individual businesses; Cypher Builds develops focused software and reusable systems that can serve more than one.
